Meeting Minutes November 2007

Meeting opened at 7:30 SHARP by Steve, N9UDO. Treasurers report: With no outstanding bills known, we have money in the account. Secretary's Report: Minutes were approved as read and printed. Member-at-large was unanimously approved as being Dave, KB9CSW. Congrats Dave!! Old business: Repeater Controller: Steve says YES, It is still there. D-STAR Repeater: Waiting on a few parts yet, hopefully by end of year. Don, our treasurer, found 4 copies of the last edition of "Now Your Talking". A discussion ensued as to what to do with them. It was decided to donate them to the local libraries. They will be going to libraries in Baraboo, Sauk City, Portage and Reedsburg. New Business: Christmas Party: scheduled for either Dec 29, or Jan 12 depending on availability. Suggested locations included: Ho-Chunk, Farm Kitchen, Houlihans, Damons, Newport Steak House, Black Forest in Portage. Rick, N9ROY volunteered to do some checking. The annual report for the Not-For-Profit status of the club need to be sent in. Papers were signed by officers of club, and a check was cut for the $10.00 fee. Mailed out by Don, K9JYX. Web Site: The renewal for our websites came due, and N9UDO Paid them out of his pocket. Costs were: Hosting fee, 167.76 includes the yellowthunder.org domain. aresraces.net domain, $39.90. Total was 207.66 Also, the renewal for the repeaters came due and N9UDO paid those also. $20.00. Motion by Rick, N9ROY to reimburse Steve. Second by Dave, KB9CSW. Motion passed.
