Treasurer’s report tabled due to absence of treasurer, N9KXX. However, it was mentioned we are STILL solvent.
Old Business:
Swapfest August 11th, 2007. Fliers have not been printed yet.
Tom, N9PQJ motioned to have the swapfest in the same building at the Fairgrounds. Don, K9JYX seconded. Passed
Steve, N9UDO said he will try to get out this week an e-mail with the information regarding the Christmas party at Farm Kitchen on January 13th. Drinks will be at 6:00, Dinner at 7:00.
While we were discussing these topics, our treasurer appeared, and told us we really DO have money in the treasury.
New Business:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!
Waukesha Hamfest is on Saturday January 6th. They will be doing testing there also, and several members have expressed an interest in upgrading GOOD LUCK.
Wisconsin QSO Party is going to be held on March 11. With the difference in the time changes this spring, the contest will run locally from 1pm to 8pm.
Repeater Controller:
Steve will send Len, N9QIP an e-mail to check on the status.
Brad mentioned that the power bill for the repeater has dropped drastically, and expressed gratitude.
Sullivan Weather has a survey out for the county representatives from all the counties they represent. They want to try out different repeaters to use for the backbone. Our very own 147.315 is one of the choices. If they decide to use it, then Sauk County ARES/RACES will use 145.310 for our Skywarn weather nets. Don, K9JYX made a motion to allow them the use if they ask. Tom, N9PQJ seconded. Passed
