Meeting Minutes April 1, 2008
  Meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by president Steve Schulze, N9UDO after Jane Steinweg, KC9NGI and Mike Hoier, KA9PSL came in with their applications and dues, thus making a quorum.

Treasurers report was read and approved as presented. There are presently 55 current paid members, 12 have not renewed as of yet and KC9NGI Jane whose license is about two weeks old. Jane, welcome to the club and ham radio.

Tom, N9PQJ moved to accept the minutes as written, Brad KB9VMC seconded. Motion carried.

Steve reported on the Wisconsin QSO party held at his house. They had 3 HF and 1 VHF station operating with lots of good refreshments flowing and food to consume.

May 17 is the annual Boy Scout event at the fairgrounds. The club hopes to have HF and VHF/UHF running. Also the possibility of another balloon launch.

This year field day is June 28 & 29.

Tom, N9PQJ moved to reimburse Brad, KB9VMC for expenses incurred for the two club sponsored balloon flights. Those were at last years Boy Scout event and at the Swapfest. Brad has about $260 invested in balloons and in the hydrogen that he drives to Madison to get. Jane KC9NGI seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Members then looked through photos of club activities from back in the 60s and 70s including photos of the YTARC sponsored ARRL conventions that were held at the old Dellview resort.

The meeting adjourned at 8:42 p.m.
